To ensure that your message reads from left to right and doesn’t become distorted by the image on the other side, all of the graphics for our custom feather flags in Sydney include a block out layer in the middle. We do also have a single sided graphic option, which has a reverse image on the other side.
We have three different base options for our feather banner flags – spike feet (which dig into the ground to hold the flag in place), heavy flat feet (which utilise their immense weight) and cross feet (which can be used with a water tank for weight).
Although feather flag banners have been designed for outdoor use, they can also be used indoors with relative ease (providing there is enough ceiling height to set them up). For indoor use, we generally recommend our 2 metre high option.
I’m not sure what type of base to use?
The type of base that you ultimately select will depend on where and how you intend to use the banner. A spike base, for example, is only suitable for outdoor use in locations where soft ground is present. If you’re looking for flexibility, we recommend our cross foot base, which can be used indoors and outdoors.
Are single or double sided graphics the better option?
Ultimately, this will depend on your own personal preference. Some people prefer double sided, because it eliminates ‘show through’ (or the mirror image visible on the back of the flag), whereas other people don’t mind this so much. At the end of the day, the choice is yours
